About Me
I am a mom of five children including twins. More importantly, I have worked with babies and young children since I was a child. I seem to be able to see the world from the baby's perspective and find a way to share that with parents.
As of March 20, 2020 Appointments are first available via Tele-Health using Google Meet which is HIPAA compliant. I will bring a scale to you, if possible and if needed, prior to visit and pick it up again after the consultation. A second adult is required to hold your phone and I recommend you have it fully charged. Once the shelter in Home order is lifted I will return to visits at your home
Generally 1 1/2 hours-enough time to evaluate the baby's feeding and answer many questions while you are sitting in your favorite chair or sofa, even lying in bed if desired. Sunday - Friday 10:30a.m.-4:00p.m. Other times available as needed Please call for an appointment.

My goal is to build the confidence of new parents in breastfeeding the baby and in parenting skills in general.
My philosophy involves meeting the parents where they are and helping them create their own best way. I observe many parents working very hard to find that recipe for parenting success and my approach is to remember that the recipe is not for fussy, exacting souffle, but a flexible, personalized stew.
There are two rules in Breastfeeding:
1. The baby is fed enough to be gaining weight 2. Mom is comfortable, physically and emotionally The exact details of how that happens is between the mother and baby, any partner and the rest of the family. All advice and information is to help you to be successful at meeting those 2 rules |
